Seattle, WA (January 17, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash involving a blue Amazon delivery van and a gray Toyota Prius occurred on southbound I-5 just north of Spokane Street late in the morning on January 16. The collision was reported around 11:54 a.m., blocking a portion of the left lane and prompting a rapid emergency response.
Initial dispatch confirmed that injuries were reported, though the extent of those injuries has not yet been released. One responding officer was believed to already be in the area as units arrived to assist with scene control and medical aid.
Both vehicles remained in the roadway temporarily, contributing to traffic delays as crews worked to assess the injured and clear the debris. The left lane remained affected during the initial investigation and cleanup process.
