Seattle, WA (January 17, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash involving a white Subaru and a white work truck occurred in the northbound lanes of I-5 just south of the West Seattle Freeway on the afternoon of January 16. The incident was reported around 1:25 p.m. and resulted in at least one person being injured.
Responding units confirmed the vehicles were initially blocking lane three but were later moved to the right shoulder just north of Dearborn St to ease traffic flow. Officers coordinated response efforts from several nearby points, including Seneca St and Mercer St, as they worked to clear the scene and assist those involved.
