Shreveport, LA (August 4, 2025) – Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal early morning crash that occurred Saturday on the Terry Bradshaw Passway (LA 3132) in south Shreveport. The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed that 38-year-old Joshua Pyle of Kilgore, Texas, died following the crash, which happened just before 4:45 a.m. near the Linwood Avenue exit.
Emergency crews responded swiftly to the scene, where they found Pyle critically injured. He was transported to Ochsner LSU Health hospital for treatment but was sadly pronounced dead at 5:17 a.m. due to injuries sustained in the crash.
The Shreveport Police Department has launched an investigation into the events leading up to the collision. Details regarding the number of vehicles involved, contributing factors, and possible causes have not yet been released.
