Shreveport, LA (January 17, 2026) – Emergency responders assisted an elderly man following a vehicle crash Friday afternoon near Kings Highway in Shreveport.
The incident occurred around 2:08 p.m. on January 16. According to emergency medical reports, an 85-year-old male involved in the crash was found alert and ambulatory at the scene. The man complained of chest and abdominal pain, prompting immediate transport to a local trauma facility for further evaluation.
Responders noted that the patient’s vital signs were stable upon assessment, with a blood pressure reading of 130/70 and an oxygen saturation level of 98% on room air. Airbags reportedly did not deploy during the collision, and it is unclear whether the individual lost consciousness at any point.
Shreveport EMS personnel transported the injured man for continued care, arriving at the medical facility within 15 minutes of the call.
