Shreveport, LA (February 1, 2026) – A 38-year-old man was transported to a local hospital after sustaining injuries in a rear-end vehicle collision on Greenwood Rd in Shreveport. The crash occurred around 1:45 p.m. on January 31, according to dispatch communications from Caddo LA Hospital Group.
Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and evaluated the male driver, who was reportedly wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and did not lose consciousness. The man complained of head, neck, and back pain following the impact and was found to be stable during transport.
Paramedics noted that no airbags had deployed in the crash. The patient’s vital signs remained within normal limits, with a blood pressure reading of 165/94 and oxygen saturation at 98% on room air. He was transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation and treatment.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the other vehicle involved or the events leading up to the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
