Skull Valley, AZ (September 1, 2025) – A deadly multi-vehicle crash involving a car and a truck claimed one life and left two others injured Saturday afternoon near Skull Valley. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the incident occurred along Iron Springs Rd near mile marker 23, southwest of Prescott.
Deputies and emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after the crash was reported. Upon arrival, they discovered a heavily damaged car and a truck with two occupants. The driver of the car, whose identity has not yet been released, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The two individuals in the truck sustained minor injuries. They were evaluated and treated by medics, with no indication that hospitalization was required. Both vehicles were removed from the roadway following documentation of the crash scene by investigators.
