Somersworth, NH (August 11, 2025) – Emergency crews from Somersworth Police, Fire, and EMS, along with responders from Dover, were dispatched late Sunday night to a head-on collision on Salmon Falls Rd near Maloney St. The crash was reported at approximately 11:06 p.m. and involved a 2025 Honda CMX500 motorcycle and a 2006 Honda Civic sedan.
The motorcycle operator sustained serious injuries and was transported to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital before being transferred to Massachusetts for advanced treatment. Police confirmed the operator was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. The driver of the Honda Civic, identified as a 20-year-old man from Berwick, Maine, was uninjured and taken into custody on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (Felony). He was held at the Strafford County Department of Corrections pending arraignment on August 11, 2025.
