Spartanburg, SC (January 18, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched Saturday evening to a vehicle accident with injuries near the intersection of East Blackstock Rd and South St in the Westgate area of Spartanburg.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:59 p.m. on January 17. Dispatch audio indicated that units from West County Fire and Rescue, along with other emergency teams, were en route to the scene to assist those involved.
Initial reports confirmed injuries at the scene, though the number of people hurt and the severity of their injuries remain unconfirmed at this time. Crews worked to manage the scene and ensure that those injured received prompt medical attention.
Authorities have not yet released the cause of the crash or whether any citations will be issued. The incident led to localized traffic delays as responders secured the area and began their investigation.
