Spartanburg, SC (January 17, 2026) – A serious multi-vehicle collision occurred Friday afternoon on John B White Sr Blvd near the Jake Energy station, resulting in injuries and one person being airlifted for emergency medical care. The crash was reported around 12:03 p.m. and involved four vehicles, including a Ford F-150, a blue Hyundai, a brown Insignia, and a fourth unidentified vehicle.
Emergency responders arrived promptly and confirmed that at least one individual sustained injuries serious enough to require air transport. The injured party was reported to be awake and breathing at the scene before being airlifted for further treatment. Additional injuries have not been confirmed at this time.
Authorities are still working to determine the cause of the crash, and the roadway experienced temporary disruptions as crews worked to assist the injured and clear the scene.
