Springfield, MA (January 17, 2026) – A man was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Allen Street, prompting an emergency response from Springfield police and medical personnel.
The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. in the 1500 block of Allen St. According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, officers arrived at the scene to find a pedestrian who had been hit by a motor vehicle. The victim sustained injuries and was transported to Baystate Medical Center for treatment. His current condition has not yet been disclosed.
The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. At this time, the exact cause of the incident has not been released, and the crash remains under investigation by Springfield authorities.
