Springfield, OH (January 29, 2026) – A tragic pedestrian-involved accident claimed the life of one individual on Wednesday afternoon in the 1000 block of Kenton St, drawing a swift response from local emergency agencies.
Authorities confirmed that the collision occurred around 12:00 p.m. and involved a vehicle striking a pedestrian under circumstances that remain under investigation. Emergency crews responded promptly to the scene to assess the situation and provide aid. Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries at the location.
Law enforcement officials from the Springfield Police Division and the Clark County Communications Center have stated that additional information, including the identity of the victim, is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
