St. Francois County, MO (August 14, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on US 67 near St. Francois State Park left a 21-year-old woman injured Wednesday morning. The collision occurred around 10:20 a.m. and involved a 2013 Honda Accord and a 2021 Ford Transit 350.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened when the Ford Transit, traveling westbound, attempted to cross northbound US 67 and entered the path of the Honda Accord, which was heading north in Lane 1. The driver of the Honda tried to avoid the Transit by moving into Lane 2, but the front left of the Honda struck the left rear of the Ford Transit.
The 21-year-old female driver of the Honda, a Farmington, MO resident, sustained moderate injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by St. Francois County Ambulance District for further treatment. The 46-year-old male driver of the Ford, from Piedmont, MO, was reportedly unharmed and was also wearing a seatbelt.
Both vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene by Buckley’s Towing. Authorities have not indicated whether citations will be issued, but the investigation is ongoing.
