St. Louis County, MO (September 7, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash occurred on Friday afternoon on eastbound I-270 just west of Hwy 367, resulting in one driver being transported to the hospital. The collision was investigated by Troop C of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and was reported around 1:50 p.m.
According to the official crash report, both vehicles were traveling eastbound on I-270 when a 2004 Honda Odyssey in the far-left lane (lane 1) crossed through lane 2 and entered lane 3. The Honda’s front right struck the front left of a 2016 Jeep Renegade, driven by a 30-year-old woman from Collinsville, Illinois. The Odyssey’s driver then lost control, veered off the right side of the roadway, and hit a guardrail before striking the Jeep again.
The 39-year-old female driver of the Honda Odyssey, from St. Louis, sustained minor injuries and was transported by Christian EMS to Barnes-Jewish Hospital. The driver of the Jeep Renegade was not reported injured. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene by Bolin’s.
