St. Louis, MO (September 6, 2025) – A serious crash occurred late on Friday night on South Outer Forty Drive in St. Louis, involving a 2011 Ford Escape and a 2019 Chevrolet. The collision, reported at approximately 9:53 p.m., resulted in multiple injuries, including serious ones.
Vehicle 1, a 2011 Ford Escape, was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes when it collided head-on with Vehicle 2, a 2019 Chevrolet. In an attempt to avoid the collision, the driver of Vehicle 2 steered left, but Vehicle 1 veered right and struck the front of the Chevrolet.
The 18-year-old female driver of the Ford Escape, along with three other passengers, sustained injuries. The driver and one occupant suffered serious injuries, while two other occupants sustained moderate injuries. They were all transported to Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, by West County Fire and EMS.
The 18-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet sustained minor injuries, and a 20-year-old male occupant also suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, by Creve Coeur Fire and EMS for further treatment.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. Traffic was briefly impacted as emergency crews worked to clear the scene and provide medical care.
