Expressway Collisions in Staten Island’s South Shore
Crashes along the West Shore Expressway—particularly near residential exits like Englewood Ave—can be especially dangerous due to merging traffic, high speeds, and limited reaction time. Even single-vehicle or low-speed collisions can result in injuries requiring hospitalization, especially when seatbelt use is inconsistent or impact occurs near side panels.
Victims of expressway crashes may suffer from soft tissue injuries, concussions, or back trauma, and these conditions can worsen if left untreated. Medical documentation, insurance reporting, and legal follow-up are critical for a complete and supported recovery.
