According to the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, 38-year-old James Cozart was operating a boat with 67-year-old Roger Cross as a passenger when the crash happened. Details remain limited, but officials confirmed that Cross drowned in the incident. Cozart managed to swim to safety and survived, though his current condition has not been disclosed.
