Stockton, CA (February 5, 2025) – A serious traffic collision involving a Ford Explorer and a semi-truck left one person with severe injuries on Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred around 7:46 p.m. on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5, just north of the Benjamin Holt Drive on-ramp. Stockton firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene to provide emergency medical assistance before transporting the injured individual to a local hospital for further treatment.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were later towed from the scene. The CHP is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
