Sugar Land, TX (December 17, 2025) – A tragic collision on Tuesday evening left one person dead and three others hospitalized after a vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic on Highway 6 near Imperial Blvd in Sugar Land. The crash occurred around 8:15 p.m. and prompted an immediate response from local police and fire crews.
Authorities report that a female driver traveling southbound on Highway 6 veered across the center median and entered the northbound lanes, where her vehicle collided with a pick-up truck traveling in the opposite direction. The impact of the crash caused severe damage, and emergency responders confirmed the female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three occupants inside the pick-up truck were injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not yet been released, and their identities have not been disclosed.
