Tacoma, WA (January 30, 2026) – Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run crash with reported injuries that occurred on Wednesday afternoon on northbound I-5 near the Tacoma Dome.
The incident was reported around 3:57 p.m., involving a white pickup truck that sustained front-end damage and fled the scene at a high rate of speed. According to initial dispatch information, the crash took place near the E D St area, creating significant concern during the busy afternoon commute.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the location and worked to assess any injured individuals remaining at the scene. Although the full extent of injuries has not been released, officials confirmed that at least one person was hurt in the collision.
