Toledo, OH (January 16, 2026) – A freeway crash near Cherry St in Toledo resulted in minor injuries for three individuals Wednesday night. Emergency crews responded to the scene around 9:28 p.m. following reports of a multi-person vehicle collision, potentially involving a rear-end impact at highway speeds.
Upon arrival, EMS personnel evaluated three people who were involved in the crash. All individuals were reported to be alert and wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision. Injuries included a forehead laceration and complaints of pain in the arm, leg, hip, and ribs. Fortunately, no serious head trauma or life-threatening conditions were reported.
Medics treated the injured on site, and further medical evaluation was conducted as needed. Traffic was temporarily slowed in the area as crews cleared the vehicles and ensured the safety of those involved.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash, including whether speed or driver inattention may have contributed.
