Toledo, OH (January 16, 2026) – Emergency crews responded Wednesday morning to a two-vehicle crash with injuries near the PNC Bank on Lewis Avenue in Toledo. The collision, which occurred around 9:42 a.m., involved a red Nissan Pathfinder and a red Chevy Equinox.
According to dispatch information, both vehicles were blocking both lanes of traffic upon arrival. First responders quickly secured the scene and began providing aid to those involved. One of the drivers requested medical attention and was evaluated by paramedics at the scene. The nature of the injuries has not been officially confirmed, but responders indicated they were not believed to be life-threatening.
Traffic was temporarily halted in the area while crews assisted the injured and cleared the roadway. The location, near a busy commercial stretch on Lewis Ave, added to congestion as vehicles were rerouted around the crash.
