Toledo, OH (August 20, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision with injuries was reported Tuesday morning in front of a business on Hill Ave near Byrne Rd in the 43607 ZIP Code. Emergency responders from Lucas County Fire/EMS arrived at the scene shortly before 9:00 a.m. and began providing care to those injured in the crash.
The incident occurred near industrial properties along Hill Ave, just east of Arco Dr. Emergency units, including Engine 4, Engine 25, and Medic 42, responded to the scene and worked to treat injuries sustained by individuals in both vehicles. According to dispatch audio, at least one person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The patient’s condition has not been disclosed.
Crews managed traffic while addressing vehicle hazards, removing debris, and directing cars away from the north side of the roadway, where the crash occurred. Authorities confirmed both vehicles suffered visible damage, and a command post was established by fire officials to coordinate the response.
