Toney, AL (January 17, 2026) – A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries in a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash that occurred at the intersection of Pulaski Pike and Patterson Ln in Toney on the night of January 15. The crash was reported at approximately 8:42 p.m., prompting a multi-agency emergency response.
According to Don Webster with HEMSI, the injured rider was found in serious condition and required immediate medical intervention. Air medical crews were dispatched to the scene to assist with transport, while paramedics began advanced care on site. The patient was ultimately taken to Huntsville Hospital for further treatment.
The Toney and Meridianville Volunteer Fire Departments both responded to the crash, working together to secure the intersection, assist with patient care, and coordinate the medical evacuation. The scene remained active for an extended period as responders managed traffic and cleared debris.
Authorities have not released further information about the other vehicle involved or what may have led to the crash. The incident is under investigation. We extend our support to the injured rider and wish them a full and swift recovery.
