Tulare County, CA (September 10, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle collision left several people injured early Monday morning after a driver reportedly ran a red light at a rural Tulare County intersection.
The crash occurred around 6:00 a.m. on September 8 at the intersection of Avenue 432 and Road 120, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities said the driver of a Ford Excursion failed to stop for a red light and collided with a pickup truck that was traveling northbound through the intersection on Road 120.
The force of the impact caused the vehicles to spin out, striking a third car that was stopped at the intersection. That vehicle sustained additional damage, but it is unclear how many of its occupants were injured.
Several people riding in the SUV were hurt, including one individual who sustained serious enough injuries to require air transport to a hospital. Others were treated on scene or taken to local medical facilities. Officials have confirmed that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
CHP officers continue to investigate the sequence of events to determine whether speed or distraction played a role in the driver’s failure to stop.
Our thoughts are with all those injured, and we wish them strength and healing during their recovery.
