Turtle Creek Twp., OH (January 23, 2025) – The Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a tragic head-on collision that claimed two lives Wednesday night on State Route 63 near State Route 741.
According to initial reports, the crash occurred at approximately 9:30 PM and involved a Kia Sedona and a Mercedes S550. Investigators revealed that the Mercedes, traveling eastbound, crossed left of the center line and collided head-on with the westbound Kia.
Both drivers succumbed to their injuries at the scene. They were identified as Kelly Hitchcock and Tyler Desparois, both residents of Lebanon.
The crash resulted in the closure of State Route 63 for approximately four hours as emergency responders, including the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Turtle Creek Township Fire Department, and the Ohio Department of Transportation, worked to investigate the scene and clear the roadway. The Warren County Coroner’s Office and Case Towing also assisted with the response.
