Victoria, TX (January 18, 2026) – A deadly multi-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler shut down Highway 59 North on Saturday afternoon, resulting in multiple fatalities and significant traffic disruption.
The collision occurred around 12:10 p.m. on January 17 at the intersection of Hwy 59 N and Hill Rd. According to local authorities, the crash involved a semi-truck and several passenger vehicles. First responders from Victoria Fire and Rescue rushed to the scene and worked to assist victims and manage the chaotic conditions.
Officials have confirmed that multiple individuals lost their lives in the crash. The total number of victims has not yet been released, and the identities of those killed are being withheld pending family notification.
