Victorville, CA (September 24, 2025) – A woman was hospitalized following a crash between a compact SUV and a flatbed truck Monday afternoon on the northbound side of the 15 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at approximately 1:08 p.m. just south of the Mojave Dr offramp. Authorities say a GMC Terrain and a white United Rentals flatbed truck were involved in the crash, which sent the larger vehicle into a dirt embankment along the freeway shoulder.
Emergency crews responded swiftly and treated a woman at the scene for minor injuries. She was then transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. No additional injuries were reported.
The impact of the collision led to major traffic delays, as at least three northbound lanes of I-15 were temporarily blocked while responders worked to clear the scene and assess the vehicles involved.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash and whether any citations will be issued.
