Virginia Beach, VA (September 23, 2025) – A teenage boy sustained serious injuries Sunday evening after a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a minibike in a residential area of Virginia Beach.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 5:44 p.m. on the 3300 block of Alcott Rd. Officers with the Virginia Beach Police Department arrived on scene to find the teen injured and in need of immediate medical attention. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries described as serious.
The initial investigation indicates the collision involved a minibike being operated by the teen and a vehicle driven by an adult motorist. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating fully with law enforcement as the investigation continues.
Police have not released details about how the crash occurred or whether any charges are being considered at this time. No additional injuries were reported.
