Waukesha, WI (August 12, 2025) – Emergency crews responded Tuesday afternoon to a complex traffic incident near White Rock Ave and N Hartwell Ave in Waukesha that involved multiple vehicles, a bicyclist, and a scooter. The collisions were reported in close succession at approximately 2:17 p.m. and 2:21 p.m.
According to initial dispatch updates, the first crash involved a motor vehicle striking a bicyclist, resulting in injuries. Minutes later, a second collision occurred in the same area between a vehicle and a scooter. Truck 5 reported that “five cars… are all squished together,” suggesting a significant chain-reaction crash. At least one person was transported from the scene for medical treatment, though the total number of injured individuals has not yet been confirmed.
