Wayne County, IN (January 16, 2026) – Two men were injured, one critically, following a violent two-vehicle crash at the intersection of N Centerville Rd and Webster Rd on January 13. The collision, which occurred around 9:30 a.m., prompted a significant emergency response from local fire and medical teams.
When crews arrived on scene, they discovered both vehicles had left the roadway due to the force of the impact. A yellow Ford Focus had overturned onto its side in a field, with the driver trapped inside. Rescue personnel worked to extricate the man from the wreckage before he was flown to Miami Valley Hospital in life-threatening condition.
The second driver, operating a white Dodge Ram, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital after being assisted out of his vehicle. Authorities say the Dodge had been heading west on Webster Rd when the driver reportedly failed to yield at the intersection, striking the southbound Ford Focus on N Centerville Rd.
The impact caused both vehicles to veer off course, with the Ford suffering extensive rollover damage and the Dodge sustaining heavy front-end impact. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the crash, and no additional details have been released at this time.
We extend our support to both injured individuals, especially the man facing critical injuries, and wish them strength and healing in the days ahead.
