Westminster, CA (September 22, 2025) – A pedestrian was injured Monday night following a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash at the Brookhurst Street on-ramp to southbound Interstate 5 in the Westminster area. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene shortly after 10:30 p.m., following reports of a person being struck by a vehicle.
According to the CHP incident log, emergency medical services were dispatched immediately, and the crash was classified as a traffic collision with injuries. The pedestrian was found on or near the on-ramp, and initial reports indicated that the victim had been hit by a vehicle traveling toward the freeway. The victim’s condition was not officially released, but emergency responders confirmed that medical care was rendered on-site before the individual was transported to a nearby hospital.
