Wichita, KS (January 16, 2026) – A 21-year-old man was hospitalized following a motor vehicle collision on Thursday evening that triggered a yellow trauma alert due to the severity of impact.
The crash, which occurred near N Hillside St, resulted in significant vehicle intrusion, measured at more than 12 inches, according to first responders. Emergency crews assessed the victim’s condition at the scene and confirmed a Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of 15, indicating full consciousness.
