Wichita, KS (January 13, 2026) – A serious crash with multiple injuries occurred along K-96 Highway near Northwest St, prompting a large-scale emergency response and the dispatch of several medical units to the scene.
Initial reports placed the accident in the westbound lanes, but Kansas Highway Patrol later confirmed the crash was in the eastbound lanes. Paramedics quickly began triage operations, identifying at least three patients with varying conditions.
