Wichita, KS (August 15, 2025) – A deadly crash in northwest Sedgwick County claimed the life of a Wichita woman and left four others injured Thursday afternoon. The collision occurred shortly before 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of 29th St N and 135th St W.
Authorities identified the victim as 42-year-old Tiffany Jones of Wichita, who died at the scene. The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office reported that Jones, driving a Dodge Dart, was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Her vehicle collided with a Mitsubishi Outlander driven by a 26-year-old woman from Maize.
The driver of the Outlander was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Three children traveling in the Outlander were also hospitalized with serious injuries. Officials have stated that impairment is not suspected as a factor in the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing.
