Wichita, KS (January 17, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash with injuries on Kansas Highway 96 near the Webb Rd interchange in Wichita.
The incident occurred around 5:55 p.m. on January 15 in the westbound lanes near mile marker 294.8. According to dispatch audio, paramedics from Medic 22 and other first responders were sent to the scene to assist three individuals who sustained injuries in the crash. The specific nature and severity of the injuries have not been disclosed at this time.
Due to the location of the incident in the westbound lanes, responders had to adjust their approach from the eastbound direction, temporarily impacting traffic in the area. Crews remained on scene to provide medical treatment and to manage the affected stretch of highway.
