Wright County, IA (September 8, 2025) – A tragic crash occurred Sunday evening on R-38, approximately 8 miles south of Clarion, resulting in one fatality and two serious injuries. According to the Iowa State Patrol, the incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. when a southbound driver lost control of their vehicle, entered the east ditch, and struck a utility pole and a field drive.
