Zimmerman, MN (January 16, 2026) – Emergency services responded to a multi-vehicle crash with injuries on Thursday evening along northbound US Highway 169 at Fremont Ave in Zimmerman. The incident occurred just after 5:30 p.m., involving three SUVs traveling in the same direction when the collision took place.
Emergency responders from Zimmerman Fire and North Memorial Ambulance provided on-scene assistance. One driver, identified as Raeann Kae Carpentier, a 37-year-old female from Stanchfield, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to Princeton Hospital for further treatment. The other drivers, both from Princeton, were evaluated at the scene and reported no injuries.
According to authorities, a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe collided with a 2020 Lexus RX and a 2025 Ford Escape, all heading northbound on Hwy 169. The Santa Fe’s airbags deployed upon impact, while the other two vehicles did not register airbag deployment.
Sherburne County Sheriff’s deputies and state patrol officers secured the area, and crews worked to clear the damaged vehicles while maintaining the flow of traffic. Road conditions were dry at the time, and no contributing factors, such as alcohol, were reported.
