Fairview, IL (September 13, 2026) – One person died after a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle at an intersection in Fulton County.
Emergency units went to Illinois Route 97 and Randolph Rd at about 6:15 p.m. on Friday, September 11. Austin Rhodes, the Fulton County coroner, said a motorcycle passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity remains withheld and is expected to be released later. The Fulton County Coroner’s Office, Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and Illinois State Police are investigating the accident.
The circumstances surrounding the collision had not been released in the initial report. The investigation remains active as officials work to determine what led to the fatal crash.
