Allen County, IN (September 14, 2026) – One person died, and another was injured Saturday morning, September 12, after a head-on accident on Coldwater Rd.
The wreck happened around 6:45 a.m. near E Cedar Canyons Rd in northern Allen County. A truck and a car were found just north of the intersection.
The truck driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The car driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation found that the truck was traveling south on Coldwater Rd while the car was heading north. The truck crossed the center line and collided head-on with the car.
Alcohol is believed to have contributed to the collision. The investigation is continuing as more information is gathered.
