Newport News, VA (August 26, 2026) – One person died, and another was hurt on Wednesday morning, August 26, after two motorcyclists were involved in a crash near Warwick Blvd and Boxley Blvd.
The two riders were traveling together when one of them went down at about 9:59 a.m. The other motorcyclist stopped to check on the person and remained at the site.
Emergency units provided medical care before both people were taken to a local hospital. One person was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital, while the other was reported hurt.
The identities of those involved had not been released. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation, and additional details may become available as the inquiry continues.
