What Happens After a Serious Two-Vehicle Accident?
A serious two-vehicle accident can require several types of information to be reviewed. Vehicle damage, roadway conditions, photographs, and statements from people who witnessed the accident may help establish what happened. Records from medical providers can also document the nature and extent of injuries.
When a vehicle overturns, investigators may examine the point of contact between the vehicles and the positions of the vehicles afterwards. Other details, such as traffic signals, lane markings, and weather conditions, may also provide useful information. Each accident is different, and the available evidence can vary depending on the circumstances.
