Flint, MI (August 24, 2026) –A man died, and a baby was injured after a collision early on Sunday morning, August 23, at Dupont Street and W Stewart Avenue.
Police said a white Buick Encore traveling eastbound on W Stewart Ave collided with a white Hyundai Tucson traveling northbound on Dupont St around 12:32 a.m. An adult man drove the Buick, while an adult woman was behind the wheel of the Hyundai.
The Buick driver died at the scene, according to police. A baby boy who was also inside the Buick was taken to a local hospital and listed in good condition.
The Hyundai driver was also taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Police have not determined which vehicle was responsible for the accident. contributed.
