Romoland, CA (June 24, 2026) – An 18-year-old man lost his life following a three-ATV wreck on Tuesday evening, June 23, in the Romoland community of unincorporated Menifee.
According to investigators, the fatal accident happened shortly after 7:00 p.m., along Gunther Road south of McIntyre Road. Ivan Zenteno, 18, of Homeland, was riding a Yamaha ATV on a dirt roadway in a rural, hilly section when his vehicle came into contact with two other off-road vehicles.
The young man was thrown from the ATV during the collision and died at the scene. No other people involved were reported hurt. Still, detectives are continuing to examine the circumstances that led to the fatality.
