Yorktown, NY (September 10, 2026) – One person was hospitalized after two vehicles collided at the intersection of Underhill Ave and Croton Lake Rd (Rte 129) in Yorktown on Wednesday, September 9.
The collision happened around 8:06 a.m. Emergency units were sent to the intersection after reports indicated possible entrapment.
Crews found two vehicles involved and removed the driver’s door from one vehicle. This allowed medical personnel to reach the person inside and remove them from the vehicle.
Yorktown EMS took the person to an area trauma center for treatment. No additional details about the person’s identity or condition were immediately available.
