Austin, TX (August 4, 2026) – One person was hurt after a collision along southbound US 183 near the Lamar Boulevard exit in Austin on August 4.
Three main lanes of the highway were closed while emergency units worked to clear the roadway. Transportation officials said the left lane remained open as crews managed traffic and removed vehicles from the roadway. One person was taken to a hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
