Westminster, CA (September 7, 2026) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision on southbound I-405 near Bolsa Ave early on Monday morning. The wreck occurred in the southbound lanes near the Bolsa Ave junction, where a silver Honda and another vehicle were involved.
Emergency units found one vehicle overturned on its roof and blocking multiple lanes. A black sedan was also reported in the area, while a big rig stopped behind the Honda with its hazard lights on and was not involved.
One injured person was taken to Orange County Memorial Hospital for treatment. The initial report identified the person as David Owens, who was described as wearing blue jeans, a gray button-down shirt, and white shoes.
The collision caused lanes 2 through 5 to be blocked while emergency units worked at the location. A tow service was also requested for the vehicles involved. Further details about the accident were not immediately available. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
