Huntsville, MO (August 12, 2026) – A 29-year-old Clark woman was injured in a three-car accident on Rte JJ about half a mile east of Huntsville shortly after 2:40 p.m. on Monday, August 10.

The woman was driving a 2019 Ford Edge east on Rte JJ when she crossed the center line and struck a 2009 Ford F-350. The Ford F-350 was driven by a 52-year-old Salisbury man.

After the collision, the Ford Edge traveled off the right side of the road. A 2024 Ford Maverick driven by a 25-year-old Moberly man was then hit by debris from the initial crash.

The Clark woman was taken by ambulance to University Hospital with serious injuries. The Salisbury man and Moberly man were not hurt, according to the report. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation as additional details are reviewed.

Our thoughts are with the injured woman as she continues her recovery.

What Is Reviewed After a Serious Multi-Vehicle Accident?

A serious multi-vehicle accident may involve several factors that help establish how the vehicles came together. Records can include the positions of the vehicles, roadway markings, visible damage, and debris patterns. Witness accounts may also provide information about what happened before and during the collision.

Medical records can document the nature and extent of physical harm after a person receives treatment. Photographs and other records may help preserve details that can change as vehicles are moved or repairs are made. Weather, lighting, traffic flow, and roadway design can also be considered when reviewing a multi-vehicle wreck. Each source can provide a different part of the overall picture without relying on a single piece of information.

1Seek treatment promptly after being injured in an accident. Your first priority should always be your health. Many providers offer treatment on a lien basis, meaning you can get the care you need now and pay later when your claim is resolved.
