Rochester, NY (June 14, 2026) – One person was seriously hurt following a hit-and-run crash involving an e-bike on the city’s northwest side Saturday night, June 13.
Emergency units were called to W Ridge Rd near Mt Read Blvd around 8:50 p.m. According to preliminary information, two people were on an e-bike that was stopped on the median when a westbound vehicle struck one of the riders.
The driver left the roadway without stopping. The person who was hit was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The second rider was not hurt.
No arrests had been made as of the latest report, and the people involved had not been publicly identified. Investigators are continuing to work toward determining the circumstances surrounding the hit-and-run.
