Dillsburg, PA (September 7, 2026) – Fourteen people were taken to five hospitals after a seven-vehicle collision involving an overturned tractor-trailer on Saturday, September 6. Two people were flown by helicopter and were listed in critical but stable condition.
Emergency units also freed one person from a vehicle. Two other people declined medical care, and one of those taken to a hospital was identified as a teenager.
Route 15 was closed at Mountain Rd for nearly nine hours following the wreck. The roadway was fully cleared at about 11 p.m., according to the initial report.
The cause of the accident and the full extent of harm to those involved have not been confirmed. Investigators are continuing to examine what led to the multi-vehicle pileup.
