San Diego, CA (September 8, 2026) – Two people were reportedly killed when a small plane crashed at Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in Kearny Mesa on Monday evening, September 7. Police received a report of the crash around 5:21 p.m.

The identities of the two people killed were not immediately released. No additional details about the circumstances of the crash were available.
